Rome map
Less than two weeks before leaving! On the map the blue arrow shows where I'll live (next to San Giovanni) and the red one where I'll work (right next to the Vatican). It's a 15 mn direct ride by metro, so all good :)
An italian/swedish student is renting me her room for the summer, it looks really great, big room with big bed, tv and dvd, internet and a nice flat shared with several other italian students, most of which won't be around in the summer.
I'm starting to learn the basics of italian, even though I'll be working in an english environment, but at least to buy a bus ticket or some bread :) My dad gave me an old "learn italian in 30 days" type of book, you can really see it dates from the 60s but it's just perfect for basics.
